A Family with a Passion for the Sea

Kaddar Insurance Agency was founded by Michal and Giora Kaddar, who have specialized in insurance since 1973, with a particular focus on yacht insurance.

Giora's life has been deeply connected to the sea, both professionally and as a passion. As he puts it:
"The sea and sailing are a way of life for me."

Giora connection to the sea began in childhood at a maritime club, continued through the Naval Officers' School in Akko, service in the Navy, and work in the Merchant Fleet.

In 1971, Giora and Michal established Tel Aviv Marina, Israel's first marina. This led to the creation of a full maintenance service system, Israel’s first sailing school, and the first marine insurance service in the country for small vessels.

Today, Gal and Or Kaddar, the sons of Giora and Michal, are running the business. They are both experienced skippers and active sailors. Gal and Or continue to steer the agency with professionalism and stability alongside their parents.
